Under this scheme, small scale farmers with a minimum of 4 hectares of land are assisted to develop rubber plantations through   financial assistance from the banks (presently Agricultural Development Bank (ADB) and National Investment Bank (NIB) in the form of loans to buy inputs and also to maintain the field.
  2. Self Finance Outgrowers. Also known as the SFO, Those in this category finance their rubber plantations from their own resources. With a minimum of 10 hectares of land the ROU of GREL provides technical assistance and advice.

Extension of farms. This system was introduced in 2009 to assist those rubber outgrowers already in production and wish to extend their farms.
