GREL’s major shareholder, SIPH, was in 1999 acquired by the SIFCOM Group.
SIFCOM specializes in tropical tree crops and agro-industry, mainly rubber, oil palm, coffee, cocoa and citrus. It holds shares, manages or provides technical assistance to agricultural development projects or companies. It also conducts feasibility studies mainly for the development of the agricultural sector and technical studies for the creation of factories or processing lines.
These members of Top Management are assisted by qualified and competent staff, both local and expatriates. The divisions are Finance/Administration, Field Operations and Technical Operations.
The successes chalked over the years are attributable to the concept of teamwork, which manifests itself through consultation, co-ordination, interpersonal communication and consensus building in GREL.
