KVIP for Anyano

The Chief and people of Anyano also had one of their many dreams in terms of community development come true when on friday November 5,2010 ,the keys to a beautiful ten (10) -seater KVIP built by GREL were handed  over to them. The construction of the facility according to Mr. J.C.Garbrah' the Human Resource And Administration Manager of GREL, cost the company an amount of GH¢ 26,000  plus electricity at the cost of GH¢ 6,000.

NANA Essuman Panyin II the Chief of Anyano in his address expressed his appreciation to the knid gesture shown by the Company to the community. He stated that "this is the very first facility our community (Anyano) is enjoying from GREL since it started operating the rubber plantation on our lands decades ago and I hope that it would not be the last." Nana Anyano indicated that in recent years the communities in GREL 's operational area are feeling the presence of the company unlike in the past.

GREL,he stated, is executing lots of projects including picking schoool children to and from their respective schools.He noted with appreciation the way the  present management of GREL has the interest of the communities at heart and expressed the hope that management would continue the good work it was doing.

Nana Assa Kofi III,Chief of Wassa Fiase Kyekyewere who spoke on behalf of the Chairman of ACLANGO (Association of Chiefs on Whose Lands GREL Operates) indicated that GREL "has been operating on our lands for a very long time but in recent years the communities are now feeling  the presence of the company." This is because the Company has in recent years contributed hugely to the social upliftment of community facilities in its operational areas. He mentioned schools,community centres, electricity and bore holes, in addition to scholarships as some of the many things the Company is doing for the communities.Consequently,he implored members of the communities to unite and embrace GREL as it delivers facilities for communities in its operational area.

Anyano KVIP is the tenth KVIP constructed by GREL.
